4. Product Analytics

We measure how Briq is used so we can improve it. This is done entirely with our own software on our own servers — we do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and none of this data is sold or shared.

What we record:

• A random visitor identifier stored in a first-party cookie ("briq_aid"), so we can tell one visit from another. It contains no personal information.
• Actions you take on Briq — pages viewed, searches, assets viewed, downloads, purchases, and use of the editor, rigger and animator — with the time they happened.
• Your device type, browser, operating system and country. We derive these from your request and do not store your IP address or full browser string.
• Where you arrived from (the referring site and any campaign parameters in the link).

If you later create an account, the activity recorded against your visitor identifier is associated with that account, so we can understand the full journey from first visit to signup.

Query strings are removed from stored URLs apart from campaign parameters, and analytics records are retained for 180 days. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not record this analytics data — records of your actual transactions, such as purchases and downloads, are still kept as part of running the service.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
